WSCRCA is proud to present a 4 week Fitness Mix

The 4 Week Fitness Mix includes HIIT, JOGA, Kettlebell Kickboxing and Yoga with Laura Flood

Open to members only (18+) and runs 4 Sundays from May 6 to June 10 from 10am-11am. No class on May 20 or May 27.

This is a members only event which is being provided at 50% off for only $30.

Registration is required as drop-ins are not accepted.

Date: Sundays May 6, May 13, June 3 and June 10 (no class on May 20 or May 27)

Time: 10:00-11:00AM

Location: Amica at Aspenwoods (Fitness Center) #10 Aspenshire Drive SW

Price: $30.00 for all 4 weeks (50% discount). Not a member yet, sign up here for a $25 annual membership.

Registration will be open until April 15, 2018.

Below are some helpful tips, and what to expect in your class:

Arrive 10 minutes before your class time so we can check you in and sign the waivers, if needed.

Please wear comfortable clothes and bring indoor runners, mat, and water bottle. For the HIIT class, if you feel that you need 8 pound weights or greater, please bring them to the class.

Classes Schedule:

Week 1 – Bootcamp Circuit

Challenge yourself with this fast- paced, calorie-blasting workout which will combine weight training, interval training, cardio and more! Boot Camp is geared toward all fitness levels. Modifications are always offered for the beginner to the advanced.

* Equipment needed - Depending on your fitness level, please bring weights of 8 lbs and up, if needed. There will be lighter weights provided

Week 2 – JOGA for the Urban Athlete

JOGA is the discipline of yoga combined with the science and biomechanics of sport. Designed to change your game and earn your edge.

Each JOGA session: keeps you agile not fragile, transforms weaknesses into strengths, helps you sleep not stress

The best thing is we don’t care if you can’t touch your toes! It will bring out your inner athlete!

* Equipment needed – mat

Week 3 – Kettlebell Kickboxing

Kettlebell Kickboxing combines the mobility, agility, and longevity principles of martial arts conditioning with the power, strength and versatility of Russian kettlebell training.

Kettlebell Kickboxing will work on your strength, cardio and mobility giving you the ultimate workout!

* Equipment needed – a mat.

Week 4 –Yoga Flow

A vinyasa flow class that links breath with movement. This is geared to all levels and we will offer modifications throughout the practice. You will develop strength, stamina, flexibility leading you to state of transformation and empowerment.

Cancellation Policy: 

Cancellations will be considered up to April 28, 2018 (1 week before the program starts) and MUST be emailed to membership@wscr.ca or done online. If the spot can be filled by a waitlisted participant, then a refund will be provided. Refunds will not be provided for any cancellations after April 28, 2018.
